Fuel PR clients Ugo Thrive and Orgran attended the annual awards to celebrate the innovation and imagination shown by the food industry in creating foods that are free of wheat, gluten, dairy, eggs, nuts, soya, sulphites and other allergens. Ugo Thrive has scooped four prestigious FreeFrom Food Awards at this year’s celebration, which took place at the Royal College of Physicians on 18th April 2018. The FreeFrom Food Awards celebrate the brands, products and sales staff that have made the biggest impact in the free from industry over the past twelve months.
This year, Ugo Thrive won GOLD in the Innovation of the year category, GOLD in the Pizza & Pasta category, Silver in the No Top 14 category and is the overall runner up of the FreeFrom Awards 2018 with their Pumpkin and Sage Raviolini. Designed to match the fast-growing trends towards both higher protein lifestyles and veganism as people are increasingly concerned with environmental, ethical and health issues. the range is currently available in the chiller cabinet in Waitrose, Sainsbury’s, Ocado, Booths and Wholefoods.
