In recent months Crossfit has taken the fitness community by storm and this is set to only increase as we enter the summer season. Essentially, Crossfit is an intense full body workout, that if done correctly and consistently can transform your body into the perfect shape for a summer on the beach. Crossfit tests and improves several facets, including: muscular strength, muscular endurance, cardio, and power. It is ideal for both an all-round athlete who feels they have no physical weaknesses, as well as a novice looking to convert their winter flab into summer tone.

Intermittent Fasting:
Breakfast is no longer the most important meal of the day. Although a sweeping statement, this is fast becoming the opinion of many health and fitness experts. By skipping breakfast and eating hearty meals for lunch and your evening meal dieticians and weight loss specialists believe that this can dramatically improver your health in several ways. It is said to be ideal for losing weight, reducing your fat percentage, maintaining lean muscle mass and in making you more physically and psychologically active.
Intermittent fasting allows your body to go into a ‘post-absorptive’ state, and then beyond that a fasted state. It is the fasted state that allows for greater fat-burn, as your insulin levels are lowered. These results are proven – leading more and more people to jump on this fitness bandwagon in search of the perfect summer body.
