Fuel developed the Town Check Up campaign for leading health and well-being client Salter HoMedics. Town Check Up was designed to demonstrate to the public the part HoMedics range of nutritional scales, body analysers and massage equipment can play in following a healthy, balanced lifestyle.
In late June and early July the Town Check up road show visited shopping centres in 6 major UK cities (Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham, Cardiff, Brent Cross and Wimbledon) to give people free personal health MOTs and lifestyle advice.
In total 618 people received free health check ups over the course of 6 days. The events were also supported by professional rugby players, professional footballers, Lord Mayors and Lady Mayoresses and MPs. The local press for each of the cities publicised the Town Check Up's impending arrivals in town in advance, and many of them covered the success of the initiative. |
