Ugo Foods launch another ground-breaking pasta under their new ‘Ugo Thrive’ range
Ugo Foods, first to market with gluten free, high protein and fresh pasta are innovating again!
Their new vegan Pumpkin and Sage Raviolini is part of a brand overhaul; previously the range has been marketed as Evexia Thrive and has a significant gluten free following. With the fast-growing trends towards both higher protein lifestyles and veganism, people are increasingly concerned with environmental, ethical and health issues.
With a 32% increase of young people searching for vegan foods on Google, we see this as being a lead message for consumers. Gluten free is very relevant and Ugo’s new ‘Ugo Thrive’ vegan Pumpkin and Sage Raviolini is uniquely free from all 14 recognised allergens, meaning that the product is bound to appeal to the fast growing ‘’free from’’ sector. Many children these days have nut, wheat, milk and egg allergies so parents delight in being able to find something that their kids can eat.”
Commercial Director Sophia Cooke says, “Ugo Foods has a track record in innovation which has seen our share of the fresh pasta market grow dramatically over the last five years. Keeping ahead of emerging trends is very much part of our ethos and launching products like our new ‘Ugo Thrive’ vegan Pumpkin and Sage Raviolini is key to developing our burgeoning ‘Ugo Thrive’ sub-brand and ensuring we keep younger, more health-conscious consumers happy.
