World Heart Beat Strikes A Fresh Chord At Ronnie Scott’s with Fuel PR
Ronnie Scott’s Jazz club is renowned for hosting the very best. From the likes of Wynton Marsalis to Kenny Garrett, the exclusive Soho club is a stage that regularly attracts Jazz royalty and the industry’s elite.
But on Thursday afternoon, the Club struck a very different chord. It was the turn of the young pretenders. The turn of Fuel’s client World Heart Beat Music Academy and some of Jazz’s stars of the future, as a number of students enjoyed the rare opportunity to perform on one of the most exclusive stages.
Introduced by renowned musician and Academy Trustee Julian Joseph, students wowed the hundred-strong crowd with their soulful singing, impressive brass-band playing and rhythmic percussion work.
The afternoon was capped off with the exciting announcement that World Heart Beat would be relocating into Embassy Gardens in 2019, part of EcoWorld Ballymore’s multi-billion-pound regeneration project in London’s Nine Elms.
On making this move, Sahana Gero MBE and founder and Artistic director of the Academy said: “Embassy Gardens is going to elevate us to a completely new level. It means that our concept for changing the lives of the next generation of raw talent through music education can become a reality for much greater numbers than we can reach currently.”
The new venue will be fully equipped with a 110-seat auditorium and state-of-the-art educational, recording and broadcasting facilities, which promises to nurture music’s next thing.
